Perfect romantic couple’s or small family retreat. Be romantic as a couple or bring the children with, so they can play in the veld, while you relax with a bottle of wine. This beautiful white cabin has a stunning 360 view overlooking the Karoo veld and hills on the one side and mountain on the other side.

Sleeps up to 4 people. (2 Adults in bedroom, and pull out couch in living room for 2 children.)  Open plan living room and kitchen feels spacious and luxurious, and is well equipped. Bathroom with shower, and also an outside shower for those summer days and nights.

This eco house is 100% off grid, with borehole water (bring fresh water yourself), hot water from gas geyser, and electricity from solar power. There is a gas oven and stove for all cooking needs, electric plugs to charge phones, but no phone signal or TV, so that you can enjoy nature as its supposed to be. A long wooden deck outside with relaxing chairs and a Weber braai makes for a great braai while watching the views and stars. There is also a fire pit at the side of the house if you want to keep it more rustic. A wood fired hot tub is at the end of the deck, to use as a splash pool in the summer and luxurious hot tub in the evenings, relaxing with your loved one or friends.

Rates and terms:

• WEEKDAYS (Mon-Tue) – R1900 per night for entire house (Sleeps up to 4 people)
• WEEKENDS (Fri-Sun) – R2300 per night for entire house (Sleeps up to 4 people)
• Extra mandatory R350 cleaning fee

• Enjoy full access to entire 1050ha farm, its sights, its dams, and its roads to self drive, game view, hike, 4×4 or mountain bike.
• Wood fired Hot Tub for private use at your unit. 
• Clean bedding and towels.
• Fully equipped kitchen, with stove, oven, fridge/freezer and microwave – with all cutlery and crockery, cloths, weber braai and braai tools and a bit of sunlight liquid for washing dishes.
• Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Salt and Pepper, Olive Oil, and often we have BBQ spice as well.
• Montevue Body Wash, Conditioning Shampoo, Hand Wash, Hand and Body Lotion.
• Portable Bluetooth Speaker (make sure to download your favorite music to your phone, before your visit.)

What you need to bring:

• Fresh drinking water (only borehole water in taps on farm, which is fairly safe to drink, but not very tasty.)
• Wood or charcoal and firelighters (be careful with fires when its windy. No open fires while wind is strong.)
• All your preferred personal hygiene products.
• Ice.
• Food and drinks, spices and everything else you need for a self catering house in nature. (can be bought at Montagu, less than 15 minutes from the farm.)
